The Wrath of the Lich King Crystalsong Forest is another location that belongs in the Northern continent. The zone is greatly known for its forest ambiance which is honed from crystal. One must take note that these crystal does not take the place of trees. They simply pop up from the ground and grows as tall as normal trees. These crystals that cover the zone are not mere crystals since they sing which is believed to be due to old magic. The Crystalsong Forest zone gets to have a winter view with its ice and snow that blankets the whole area including the trees and the rocks.

Historical Foundation of the Zone:

Long time ago, the zone is seen to be a normal landscape yet during this times it is far behind. The very pleasing scene of the zone was destroyed after the dragons both the blue and the black had their battle settling the zone as their graveyard. These dragons have their magic which was shattered on the wind that later falls on the trees and the rocks. On the latter end, a majestic blue dragged cast a potent spell to take the lives of the foes and shape it into stones.

They lived in the Wrath of the Lich King Crystalsong Forest just to protect the Great tree. They warn explorers if they get their feet over the Great tree. They are great guardians and protectors.
