Welcome to the Monster Legends guide! I will be giving you information on this awesome game. This game is made after the success of Dragon City. The artwork and breeding game play is very similar.
The only thing that they added more was the PvP aspect. The monsters in the game have special abilities and different attacks at your disposal. Dragon City did not have that, so it was a nice addition.
There are 8 basic elements in the game. They are fire, water, earth, electric, nature, dark, magic and light. Each element is has its strength and weakness.
- Fire is strong against Nature
- Nature is good against Magic
- Magic is strong vs Light
- Light is good against Dark
- Dark is great vs Earth
- Earth is good vs Electric
- Electric is great against Water
- Water is strong vs Fire
This is the basic element weakness that can be exploited to your advantage when fighting in the monster arena or PvP.
For breeding, you have to breed the different elements to get the best monsters in the game. The monsters are grouped into the following categories:
- Common – The most basic monsters such as Firesaur, Treezard etc.
- Uncommon – Hybrids of the common monsters.
- Rare – These are harder to obtain than uncommon ones.
- Epic – These can only be breed using rare monsters.
- Legendary – The most powerful of them all. These can only be gotten breeding epic monsters.
The legendary monsters take a while to get as the breeding time can get quite outrageous. The breeding time for them is right about 2 days. So, if you happen to have that, then you know you have successfully bred a strong one!
Each element has their own habitat. Hybrid monsters can stay in their respective element habitats as long as they have that element. For example, a Greenasaur has an element of Fire and Nature. Naturally, it can stay in either the Fire or Nature habitat.
Each monster has an earning potential. Depending on the kind of monster type you have, the gold you earn per minute can vary. The earning potential for the monster is determined by type:
Legendary> Epic> Rare> Uncommon> Common
You will want to get many Legendaries as you can to increase your gold income.
You can get food by building food farms. These will provide the food you need to level up your monsters. When you get to higher levels, the amount of food needed will get higher and higher. You can avoid using feeding them too much good by fighting in the adventure map so that they can get experience to level up.
